Pup 20 Named: Chewie
Congrats to DBech for winning the most votes and naming this little pup “Chewie” cause she “Looks like a little Chewbaca.” We raised a good amount for a good cause and did it in a fun way. Good times, right? Regarding the $10? Get in touch DBech and we’ll mail it out. Otherwise, as seems to be the trend, we’ll throw that in hopper for a four-legged charity.
This week’s pup: A Terrier/Chihuahua found in a high-kill shelter over the weekend. The mother is a white terrier with a good heart, a lot of street-smarts (she was raising this little guy on the street), and one blue eye. This little guy is sporting two brown eyes and good disposition despite his previous situation. He is not expected to weigh more than 10 to 15 lbs fully grown. Here’s the thing, having been sprung from the high-kill and brought to a much more humane Bark Avenue Shelter, both have a new lease on life… this little guy should have a new name to go along with it. Take a look at that little face and let us know what you think he should be called in the comments section below. BONUS: If you know anyone who’d like to take them home, let us know.
